Communication issues in a school environment

Abstract:

Téma této diplomové práce, která je zaměřena na komunikaci ve třídě a na vliv komunikace na celkové klima třídy, zní Problémy komunikace ve školním prostředí. Cílem pojednání je získat informace o vztazích ve třídě, o celkovém klimatu třídy a vlivu komunikace na atmosféru v žákovském kolektivu. S ohledem na zvolené téma se součástí teoretického pojednání staly kapitoly, které s tématem komunikace úzce souvisejí. Byly zde vymezeny pojmy, jako je verbální a nonverbální komunikace, sociální komunikace, pedagogická komunikace, osobnost učitele, naslouchání, integrace a inkluze. Na poslední dva zmiňované termíny byl kladen zvláštní důraz, neboť se staly průvodním heslem celé práce. Důležitá kapitola je věnována též sociálnímu klimatu školní třídy; tuto pasáž lze považovat za stěžejní. V druhé části je představena metoda, kterou byl výzkum proveden. Jedná se o explorativní metodu ? dotazníkové šetření. V příloze je pak uvedena tabulka průzkumu. Šetřením bylo zjištěno, jaký vliv má komunikace na celkové klima školní třídy. Pokud ve třídě dobře funguje komunikace, odráží se to i na celkovém klimatu nejen třídy, ale celé školy.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis, which is focused on communication in the class and the influence of communication on the overall atmosphere in class, is communication problems in a school enviroment. The aim of the thesis is to gather information about relationships in class, overall atmosphere in class and about the influence of communication on the atmosphere in a school team. With the aim of the thesis taken into consideration, principal chapters closely associated with communication are part of the thesis. The terms like, for example, verbal and non-verbal communication, social communication, educational communication, teacher?s personality, listening, integration and inclusion are defined here. The main emphasis is put on the last two terms,integration and inclusion, as they are the escalator clause of this thesis. An important chapter is dedicated to the social atmosphere of a class. I consider this passage in my thesis to be pivotal. The way the research was carried out is introduced in part two. I used an explorative method - a questionnaire survey. The research table is included in the appendix. The survey shows how communication influences the overall atmosphere in class. If the communication in the class works well it reflects upon the overall atmosphere of not only the class but also the whole school.
