History, rise and development of Institute and Hall Antropos

Abstract:

Tato práce mapující vznik, vývoj a historii Ústavu a pavilonu Anthropos s vlastní muzejní expozicí se snaží objasnit okolnosti jeho zřízení. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První se věnuje zejména historickým souvislostem, první snahy o zbudování ústavu Anthropos totiž sahají do první republiky a jsou neodmyslitelně spojeny se jménem prof. Karla Absolona, který jako první přišel s nápadem zbudovat tento ústav. Historický vývoj je zde sledován ve třech hlavních fázích, mající rozhodujícím způsobem vliv na uskutečnění Absolonových plánů. Zmíněny jsou zde také jeho první koncepční plány a významné výzkumy díky nimž vznikaly první sbírky jako základ pro budoucí ústav a pavilon Anthropos. Druhá, stěžejní část je věnována osobě Dr. Jana Jelínka, kterému se na myšlenku prof. Absolona zbudovat ústav a pavilon Anthropos podařilo úspěšně navázat. Pozornost je zde věnována především celkové koncepci ústavu a pavilonu Anthropos, dalším významným výzkumům a s tím spojené sbírkotvorné činnosti a v neposlední řadě i činnosti publikační a výchovné. Opomenut samozřejmě není ani nesporný vliv kontaktů Dr. Jelínka se zahraničními kolegy, vedoucí k popularizaci české vědy a tím i samotného Anthroposu ve světě. V závěru práce je shrnutí a rekapitulace všech těchto snah a principů vedení a organizace ústavu Anthropos, které byly nakonec korunovány úspěchem, vedoucí k nadčasovosti jak samotného pavilonu Anthropos, tak i jeho expozice a výstav a tím i sbírek a prezentace.

Abstract:

This work describing rise, development and history of Institute a Hall Antropos with own museum exposition tries to explain circumstances of its establishment. This work is devided into two parts. The first one describes especially its historical connection; the first efforts of its establishment goes back to the first our republic and are connected with the name of professor Karel Absolon. He was the first who came with the idea of establishment of this institution. The historical development is explained in three basic phases having the main influence on realisation of Absolon´s plans. There are mentioned even his plans and prominent researches thanks to the first collections appearence as the basic for the future institution of Antropos. The second main part is dedicated to professor Jan Jelínek who continued successfully in idea sof professor Absolon. The atention is dedicated total conception of institution and hall Anthropos, others prominent reseaches and influence of Jelínek´s contect with foreign colleuges. It leads to popularity of Czech science in the World. There are the summary and recapitulation of all these efforts and guiding principle of scholarship and organization of Anthropos in the end of this work. These efforts lead to success of Anthropos.
