Teaching world religions at the upper secondary vocational school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá celým kontextem výuky světových náboženství na střední odborné škole, tj. přípravou i realizací. Teoretická část charakterizuje samotný pojem „náboženství“, poté jednotlivě popisuje pět světových náboženství. Didaktická část obsahuje kapitoly o plánování výuky, vyučovacích stylech, formách, metodách, klimatu, pedagogické komunikaci, kázni, hodnocení a sebereflexi učitele. V poslední části je nejprve nastíněna role náboženství ve vzdělávacím systému. Následně se analýzou tří vyučovacích hodin zkoumá a zhodnocuje aplikace teoretických poznatků do praxe, a to s ohledem na konkrétní střední odbornou školu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the entire context of teaching world religions at the upper secondary vocational school, i.e. preparation and implementation. The theological part characterizes the term of “religion” itself, then describes five world religions separately. The didactic part contains chapters on educational planning, teaching styles, forms, methods, climate, pedagogical communication, discipline, assessment, and teacher self-reflection. In the last part, the role of religion in the educational system is first outlined. Subsequently, the application of theoretical knowledge into practice is examined and evaluated through the analysis of three lessons, with regard to a specific upper secondary vocational school.
