Práce pojednává o životě židovských přistěhovalců do USA na přelomu 19. a 20. století, jak je popsán v americké literatuře, konkrétně v knihách Abrahama Cahana The Rise of David Levinsky, Anzii Yezierské Hungry Hearts a Henryho Rotha Call It Sleep. Abstract:
The work deals with the life of Jewish immigrants to the USA at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, as depicted in American literature, specifically in books: Abraham Cahan’s The Rise of David Levinsky, Anzia Yezierska’s Hungry Hearts and Henry Roth’s Call It Sleep.
