Mathematical models for demography
Abstract:
V práci se snažím popsat základní matematické metody pro modelování populačního růstu. Ty jsou postaveny hlavně na Perronově-Frobeniově teorii a Lotkově rovnici obnovy. Práse se zabývá modely jak diskrétními, tak spojitými a hledá jejich společné prvky. Zároveň se na názorném příkladě snaží demonstrovat získané znalosti.
Abstract:
There is effort to describe fundamental mathematical methods for modelling of population growth. These are built mainly on Perron-Frobenius theory and Lotka's renewal equation. Thesis includes both discrete and continuous models and tries to find a connection. It also tries to demonstrate the theory on real data.
