Determinants of municipal gambling regulation

Abstract:

Final thesis, template, document, example of a final thesis. This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the determinants that influence the decision of municipalities in the Czech Republic to regulate gambling. It uses quantitative methods, specifically binary and ordinal logistic regression, to model the relationships between demographic, economic and social factors and the level of gambling regulation. The results show that community size, economic activity, unemployment rate and social stability are significant predictors of regulation. The paper also provides recommendations for local councils
