Bakalářská práce se zabývá povědomím laické veřejnosti o problematice kolorektálního karcinomu. Práce je složena ze dvou částí, praktické a teoretické části. Teoretická část práce je zpočátku věnována anatomii a fyziologii tlustého střeva a konečníku, poté se komplexně zabývá onemocněním kolorektálního karcinomu, včetně možností prevence a screeningu, na který je v práci kladen velký důraz. This bachelor thesis deals with the awareness of the general public about colorectal cancer. It consists of two parts: practical and a theoretical part. The theoretical part is initially devoted to the anatomy and physiology of the colon and rectum.
