A Boarding House Environment and its Social Climate

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Prostředí domova mládeže a jeho sociální klima se v teoretické části zabývá problematikou činnosti domova mládeže jako celku, dále vymezuje příslušnou legislativu, popisuje poznatky o vývojovém období adolescence, klima domovů mládeže a v neposlední řadě vliv pobytu v domově mládeže na formování osobnosti klientů. Na příkladu konkrétního Domova mládeže Vyšší odborné školy, střední školy, centra odborné přípravy v Sezimově Ústí přibližuje specifika reálného prostředí, které je domovským zázemím oslovených respondentů. Praktická část zkoumá problematiku prostřednictvím kvantitativního výzkumu a následně zpracovává, analyzuje a interpretuje získané výsledky. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem a do jaké míry se sociální klima domova podílí na rozvoji osobnosti klienta. V závěru jsou zjištěné poznatky shrnuty a výsledky mohou sloužit jako podklad pro možné pozitivní ovlivnění klimatu ubytovacího zařízení, kde byl průzkum proveden.

Abstract:

This master´s thesis called „The Environment of the youth home and its social climate“ deals in theoretical part with the activities of youth home as a whole, specifies the apropriate legislative, describes the knowledge about the adolescence stage, climates of youth homes and last but not least, the influence of living in youth homes on its clients. In the example of a specific Youth home at Vyšší Odborná škola, střední škola, centrum odborné přípravy in Sezimovo Ústí brings closer the specifics of a real environment which is home of addressed recipients. Practical part of this master´s thesis deals with the dogma with the use of quantitative research followed by processing, analyzing and interpreting the found results. The main goal of this thesis was to figure out in which way and to which point the social climate of a youth home influences the personality development of a client. The conclusion includes the summary of the research and the results can be used as a basis of a possible positive influence on the accomodation place where the research took place.
