Theory of Sensual Knowledge of Francisco Suárez in the Light of Theory of Thomas Aquinas
Abstract:
Cílem práce je představit teorii smyslového poznání a všech s tím souvisejících problémů, vypracovanou filosofem a teologem Franciscem Suárezem na základě Aristotelova spisu O duši. Jako filosofické pozadí a referenční podklad pro lepší pochopení všech paralel a odlišností od tradičního vysvětlení je v souvislosti s tím v krátkosti připomenuta teorie Tomáše Akvinského.
Abstract:
The aim of this work is to introduce and examine Francisco Suárez’s theory of sensual knowledge and also deals with significant problems related to his theory. This theory was evolved on the basis of Aristotle work De anima. As philosophical background and reference point for proper understanding Suárez’s theory, we use the sensual-knowledge theory of Thomas Aquinas.
