Influence of alcohol on performance in motor tests of coordination skills

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá aspekty vlivu alkoholu na výkon v motorických testech koordinačních a silových schopností. Cílem bylo zjistit již zmíněný vliv alkoholu na koordinační a silové schopnosti a porovnat výsledky mezi mužským a ženským pohlavím. Výzkumný soubor, který obsahoval 8 studentů, byl vybrán na základě vyplněného dotazníku C.A.G.E.. Testování probíhalo ve 4 kolech, kdy první bylo bez požití alkoholu. Následně se podávala ve 3 kolech individuální dávka alkoholu, která byla vypočítána podle tělesné hmotnosti každého probanda. V závěru uvádím, že největší rozptyl výsledků je u výdrže ve stoji jednonož na obrácené švédské lavičce a naopak minimální rozdíly jsou ve vertikálním skoku dosažném. Dále uvádím, že ženy byly ve třech provedeních motorických testů lepší než muži. Jinak v ostatních kolech a cvicích byli lepší muži. V této práci se hypotéza č. 1, že existuje rozdíl v úrovni provedení před a po požití, potvrdila. Druhá hypotéza, že existuje rozdíl mezi ženami a muži před a po požití, se také potvrdila. Dále uvádím, jak by se dalo navázat na dané téma.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the aspects effects of alcohol in motoric tests of coordination and strength abilities. The aim was to determine already mentioned influence of alcohol on coordination and strength abilities and compare the results of gender differences. The research sample consisting of 8 students, was chosen based on the C.A.G.E. questionnaire. The research tests took place in 4 rounds, from which the first one was without alcohol. Then in the next 3 rounds the individual dosage of alcohol was administered to the text subjects, which was determined according to the bodyweight of each probant. In the conclusion of thesis I state that the biggest dispersion of results was recorded in the discipline of single-legged stand endurance on the reversed swedish bench and conversely the minimal differences of results were recorded in the vertical reaching jump. I further state that the women were better in three performances of motoric tests than men. Otherwise the men were overall better in other rounds and exercises. In this thesis the first hypothesis, that there is a difference in performance before and after the ingestion of alcohol, was confirmed. The second hypothesis, that the difference exist between men and women after the ingestion of alcohol, was also confirmed. Hereafter I state the possibilities of further development of this topic.
