The capital cities of the Visegrad group and their creative environment

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce jsou podpory rozvoje kreativního prostředí hlavních měst Visegrádské čtyřky. V rámci teoretické části práce je představena složitost a rozmanitost základní a související terminologie Představen je také vývoj chápání problematiky kulturních a kreativních průmyslů včetně teorií vybraných zahraničních a tuzemských odborníků. Dále jsou analyzovány vybrané způsoby podpory rozvoje kulturních a kreativních odvětví. Stěžejní část práce je založena na jednotlivých případových studií realizovaných v hlavních městech Visegrádské čtyřky (dále V4), které si kladou za cíl představit vybrané možnosti podpory rozvoje kreativního prostředí měst. Možnosti podpory jsou vybrány z nadnárodního, národního i místního hlediska. Pro nadnárodní hledisko jsou použity informace z Evropské unie, která poskytuje strukturální fondy na základě, kterých si státy vytváří své operační programy. Z místního hlediska jsou pak vybraný ty nástroje, které podporují rozvoj na území měst například výstavba kulturních a kreativních center. Na základě těchto zjištěných skutečností budou analyzovány a porovnány přístupy k podpoře rozvoje kreativního prostředí v jednotlivých hlavních městech Visegrádské čtyřky i přes to, že k rozvoji kreativního prostředí přistupují individuálně a nemají pro ně stanovenou přesnou definici.

Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is to support the development of the creative environment of the capitals of the Visegrad Four. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the complexity and diversity of basic and related terminology. The development of understanding of the issues of cultural and creative industries, including the theories of selected foreign and domestic experts, is also presented. Furthermore, selected ways of supporting the development of cultural and creative industries are analyzed. The main part of the work is based on individual case studies carried out in the capitals of the Visegrad Four (hereinafter V4), which aim is to present selected options to support the development of the creative environment of cities. Support options are selected from a transnational, national and local perspective. For the transnational aspect, information from the European Union is used, which provides structural funds on the basis of which states create their operational programs. From the local point of view, those tools are selected that support the development of cities, such as the construction of cultural and creative centers. Based on these findings, approaches to support the development of the creative environment in the individual capitals of the Visegrad Four will be analyzed and compared, despite the fact that they approach the development of the creative environment individually and do not have a precise definition.
