Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou brownfields v městě Ústí nad Labem a jejich transformací prostřednictvím inovačních projektů, s důrazem na Kampus Univerzity J. E. Purkyně. Brownfields představují opuštěná průmyslová či komerční území, která často nesplňují environmentální normy a brání rozvoji městských oblastí. V první části práce je provedena analýza situace brownfields v Ústí nad Labem, zahrnující identifikaci klíčových lokalit, překážek a možností jejich revitalizace. Metody výzkumu zahrnovaly analýzu dat z dostupných pramenů, studium odborné literatury a konzultace s odborníky v oboru. Výsledkem práce je komplexní pohled na problematiku brownfields v Ústí nad Labem a identifikace klíčových faktorů úspěšné transformace těchto opuštěných území prostřednictvím inovačních projektů. Práce poskytuje návrh pro město a další zainteresované subjekty, jak efektivněji řešit tento problém a využít potenciál brownfields pro rozvoj města a regionu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis addresses the issue of brownfields in the city of Ústí nad Labem and their transformation through innovative projects, with a focus on the University Campus of J. E. Purkyně. Brownfields represent abandoned industrial or commercial areas that often do not meet environmental standards and hinder the development of urban areas. The first part of the thesis involves an analysis of the brownfields situation in Ústí nad Labem, including the identification of key locations, obstacles, and possibilities for their revitalization. Research methods included data analysis from available sources, studying professional literature, and consultations with experts in the field. The outcome of the thesis provides a comprehensive view of the brownfields issue in Ústí nad Labem and identifies key factors for the successful transformation of these abandoned areas through innovative projects. The thesis offers recommendations for the city and other stakeholders on how to more effectively address this problem and utilize the potential of brownfields for the development of the city and the region.
