Konce eukaryotických chromozomů - telomery- jsou tvořeny nukleoproteinovými komplexy, které chrání konce chromozomů před vzájemným spojováním a degradací. Abstract:
The ends of eucaryotic chromosomes - telomeres - are formed by nucleoprotein complexes which protect the ends of chromosomes from end-to-end fusions and degradation. Increasing evidence indicates that chromatin modifications are important regulators of telomeres.
