Shared Accommodation as a New Form of Competition in the Hotel Industry

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of shared accommodation in Prague between 2011 and 2018. Shared accommodation is a growing phenomenon not only in the world but also in the Czech Republic and also a very discussed topic. These discussions are mainly related to the regulation, tax evasion and comparisons with the traditional model of accommodation services. The diploma thesis therefore compares the market of shared and traditional accommodation.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zameriava na problematiku zdieľaného ubytovania v Prahe v období medzi rokmi 2011 až 2018. Zdieľané ubytovanie je rastúcim fenoménom nie len vo svete ale aj v Českej republike a tiež veľmi diskutovanou témou. Tieto diskusie sa viažu hlavne k otázkam regulácie, daňovým únikom a komparáciám s tradičným modelom ubytovacích služieb. V diplomovej práce je preto vykonaná detailná komparácia trhu zdieľaného a trhu tradičného ubytovania.
