Discrimination against woman in the workplace

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá diskriminací žen v pracovním procesu. V teoretické části jsou definovány pojmy týkající se genderové diskriminace a rovnosti pohlaví. Analytická část práce analyzuje data z dotazníkového šetření zaměřeného na příčiny a projevy diskriminace žen v zaměstnání. Cílem dotazníkového šetření je zjistit, jaký důvod diskriminace na pracovišti se vyskytuje nejčastěji. Další z cílů bakalářské práce je navrhnout efektivní opatření, která by pomohla redukovat výskyt diskriminace na pracovišti a podpořit rovné zacházení v zaměstnání.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis addresses discrimination against woman in the workplace. The theoretical part defines concepts related to gender discrimination and gender equality. The analytical section of the thesis analyses data from a survey focused on the causes and manifestations of discrimination against woman in employment. The goal of the survey is to determine the most common reason for discrimination in the workplace. Another objective of the bachelor thesis is to propose effective measures that would help reduce the occurrence of discrimination at the workplace and support equal treatment in employment.
