Evaluation of the Strakonice railway station modernization in terms of financial savings

Abstract:

Abstrakt Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem vyhodnocování železničních stanic po jejich zmodernizování. Konkrétně se jedná o nově zmodernizovanou železniční stanici Strakonice. V teoretické části jsou uvedené možnosti (metody), kterými lze toto vyhodnocování provádět. V tomto konkrétním případě je použita metoda benefitů a nákladů, tedy metoda CBA (anglicky Cost - Benefit Analysis). Modernizace, která byla zahájena v roce 2014, zahrnuje vybudování nového přístupu ke kolejím pro cestující v podobě podchodu, dále vybudováním ostrovních nástupišť pro cestující a rekonstrukci všech obvodů kolejiště. Modernizace se nekonala pouze v rovině stavební, ale také byla použita nová technologie z hlediska provozního, to znamená, že se nahradilo staré elektromechanické zabezpečovací zařízení 2. kategorie novým zařízením ESA pro JOP (jednotné obslužné pracoviště), které spadá do třetí kategorie. Velkým přínosem pro cestující je také nový informační systém, který je ve stanici umístěný minimálně na čtyřech místech, kamerový systém, který monitoruje pohyb a bezpečnost cestujících. V závěru práce dochází k vyhodnocení modernizace z hlediska úspor zaměstnanců ve stanici a z hlediska úspory času pro cestující, která vznikla vybudováním podchodu a dokončením modernizace v roce 2015.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of modernisation of railway stations with a focus on the evaluation of the modernisation of Strakonice station regarding the personnel costs and time saving of the passenger when accessing the platforms. The theoretical part presents various evaluation methods, such as Cost-Benefit Analysis which is then used in the thesis. The modernisation of Strakonice station tok place in the period o2014-2015 and included new platforms, new access to the platforms, building of a subway and reconstruction of new circuits of the railway yard. The modernisation took place not only at the construction level but new maintenance technologies were implemented such as the new security system ESA of category 2 for the unified maintenance workplace of category 3 together with a new information system for the passengers and a new surveillance system.This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of modernisation of railway stations with a focus on the evaluation of the modernisation of Strakonice station regarding the personnel costs and time saving of the passenger when accessing the platforms.
