Abstract:

V disertační práci se zabýváme problematikou evropské dimenze (dále jen ED) v dějepisných učebnicích. Předmětem našeho zkoumání je pět učebnic dějepisu pro 9. ročník ZŠ, ve kterých analyzujeme výkladový text a posuzujeme, zda jeho obsah odpovídá vybraným teoretickým a výzkumným poznatkům vztahující se k ED v dějepisném vzdělávání týkající se výuky nejnovějších a soudobých dějin Evropy. Jelikož ED ve vzdělávání je velmi rozsáhlé a komplexní téma, v teoretické části práce jsme se zaměřili pouze na několik okruhů sledované tematiky, včetně teorie učebnic. V rámci empirické části práce bylo naší snahou zjistit, v jakém rozsahu a jakým způsobem je ED integrována do současných dějepisných učebnic, přičemž nás zajímalo, zda učebnice vycházející z Rámcového vzdělávacího programu základního vzdělávání (2007, dále jen RVP ZV) kladou větší důraz na doporučovaná témata, než učebnice, které byly zpracovány na základě Vzdělávacího programu ZŠ (1996, dále jen VP ZŠ). K zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky jsme zvolili svou povahou dva odlišné přístupy. V učebnicích jsme analyzovali kognitivní složky ED ve čtyřech tematických oblastech: Evropa a její proměny, evropská idea, evropská integrace a Evropská unie, přičemž jsme zjistili mnohé nedostatky učebnic z posuzovaného hlediska. Výsledky kvantitativní obsahové analýzy neprokázaly, že učebnice utvořené s ohledem na RVP ZV (2007) věnují více pozornosti sledovaným tématům ED, než učebnice zohledňující VP ZŠ (1996). Zjištění plynoucí z kvalitativní analýzy nepotvrdily, že učebnice koncipované na základě stejného kurikulárního dokumentu vykazují podobné tendence v jejich obsahovém zaměření. Místo toho výsledky provedených analýz ukázaly, že učebnice věnují sledovaným tématům různou míru pozornosti, která variuje spíše v závislosti na koncepcích jednotlivých učebnic, resp. autorských kolektivů než na kurikulárním dokumentu, dle něhož byly učebnice zpracovány. Dle těchto zjištění je patrné, že proces implikace ED do učebnic dějepisu bude zřejmě dlouhodobější záležitostí, právě proto se v závěrečných poznámkách zamýšlíme nad možným doporučením pro tvorbu dějepisných učebnic (zejména 9. ročníku ZŠ).

Abstract:

This thesis is concerned with the European dimension (henceforth ED) in history textbooks. More precisely, in the thesis we examine how the ED is implemented in Czech history textbooks and analyse how its implementation has developed over the past years. We particularly focus on the representation of themes related to the ED in the expository texts in five Czech history textbooks for the 9th grade of lower secondary school and hereby pay attention to European development in the 20th and 21st centuries. In the theoretical part of the thesis due to the complexity of ED in education, we only engage with certain aspects of the concept and also with the textbook theory. The key research aim for the empirical part of this thesis was to investigate to what extent and how the ED is integrated into the current structure of history textbooks. This is done by comparing textbooks which are based on current (Czech Framework Educational Program for Primary Education, 2007, henceforth FEP PE) and earlier (Educational Program Primary Education, 1996, henceforth EPPE) curricula in regard to the occurrence and the way of possible interpretations of topics related to the ED. In order to answer the main research question, this thesis demanded a quantitative and qualitative approach. We evaluated textbooks in terms of their contribution to four main topics: Europe and its changes, European idea, European integration, EU and we found that the textbooks have certain shortcomings in coveying this. The outcomes of the quantitative content analysis indicated that textbooks designed according to the FEP PE (2007) pay more attention to ED themes than textbooks which were grounded on the EPPE (1996) was not demonstrated. The qualitative content analysis did not confirm our assumption that textbooks by different authors but based on the same curriculum document show similar tendencies in content. Instead, the analysis rather showed that the textbooks devoted different degrees of attention to ED themes, depending on the respective author collectives. From our research findings it is evident that the implication of ED into history textbooks is a longer process, therefore our final remaks are dedicated to several recommendations for textbook design.
