Strategic analysis of the selected business entity

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Strategická analýza vybraného podnikatelského subjektu“ je vytvoření komplexní strategické analýzy podniku EUROVIA CS, a.s., za použití metod strategické analýzy. Cílem diplomové práce je, na základě strategické analýzy vybraného podniku, zjištění současného stavu vybraného podniku a návrh doporučení pro zlepšení stávajícího stavu. První část práce je teoretická a zaměřuje se na problematiku strategické analýzy, na nástroje jejího provedení ve vnějším i vnitřním prostředí a vysvětlení jednotlivých pojmů. Ve druhé části práce, praktické, jsou na základě jednotlivých analýz identifikovány nejprve příležitosti a hrozby z okolí podniku a poté jeho silné a slabé stránky. Pro analýzu vnějšího prostředí jsou použity PESTLE analýza, Porterův model pěti sil a Analýza zákazníků a vnitřní prostředí bylo analyzováno prostřednictvím Analýzy firemních faktorů. Výstupy z těchto analýz jsou použity v syntetické SWOT analýze, na základě, které jsou vytvořeny konkrétní návrhy a doporučení. V souvislosti s provedenou strategickou analýzou lze konstatovat, že analyzovaný podnik má silné postavení na trhu, je finančně zdravý a konkurenceschopný.

Abstract:

The subject of the diploma thesis "Strategic analysis of a selected business entity" is the creation of a comprehensive strategic analysis of EUROVIA CS, a.s., using strategic analysis methods. The aim of the thesis is, based on a strategic analysis of the selected company, to determine the current state of the selected company and propose recommendations for improving the current state. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and focuses on the issue of strategic analysis, on the tools for its implementation in the external and internal environment and the explanation of individual concepts. In the second, practical part of the work, based on individual analyses, opportunities and threats from the company's surroundings are first identified, and then its strengths and weaknesses. PESTLE analysis, Porter's five forces model are used to analyze the external environment and Customer Analysis and Internal Environment was analyzed through Company Factor Analysis. The outputs from these analyzes are used in a synthetic SWOT analysis, based on which specific proposals and recommendations are created. In connection with the strategic analysis carried out, it can be stated that the analyzed company has a strong position on the market, it is financially healthy and competitive.
