Abstract:
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a translation of literary text with detailed commentary. In this particular case, the text is the essay Notes of a Native Son written by the American author James Baldwin. The work contains a commentary of a translation, which tries to explain problems encountered during the translation. The thesis also tries to point out the problem of language equivalence.
Abstract:
Tématem této bakalářské práce je překlad literárního díla s podrobným překladem. Jedná se o esej Notes of a Native Son amerického autora Jamese Baldwina. Práce obsahuje komentář k překladu a problematickým místům překládaného textu. Teze poukazuje na možné těžkosti překladu a ekvivalence mezi jazyky.
