Flexible forms of work - motivation factors and implementation barriers

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou motivy a bariéry zavádění flexibilních pracovních režimů. V současné době je flexibilizace pracovního trhu velmi aktuálním tématem, především v souvislosti s globalizací trhu práce. Jednou z cest flexibilizace pracovního trhu je zavádění flexibilních pracovních režimů. Práce identifikuje motivy a bariéry zavádění flexibilních pracovních režimů ze strany zaměstnavatele a monitoruje dopady využívání těchto režimů. Byla zvolená metodika polostrukturovaného rozhovoru aplikovaná ve 12 společnostech v oblasti informačních a komunikačních technologií. Na základě těchto rozhovorů bylo možné zodpovědět na výzkumnou otázku a identifikovat motivy a bariéry zavádění flexibilních pracovních režimů. Výsledky na vybraném vzorku dokumentují vysokou míru využívání flexibilních pracovních režimů ve společnostech, jejichž předmětem činnosti jsou informační komunikační technologie.

Abstract:

The theme of this bachelor thesis are the motives and barriers of flexible forms of work implementation. Currently, more flexible labor market is a very hot topic, especially in the context of globalization of the labor market. One way to more flexible labor market is implementation of flexible forms of work. This thesis identifies the motives and barriers of implementation of flexible forms of work by employers and monitors the impacts of using these forms. A semi-structured interview methodology was used to question 12 information- and communication industry companies. These interviews gave an answer to the research question and identified the motives and barriers of the flexible forms of work implementation. The results show a high degree of flexible forms of work usage in the selected sample of companies from the information- communication technology industry.
