Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analyzovat a zhodnotit přístup k cirkulární ekonomice, cirkulárnímu výrobku a udržitelnosti vybraných oděvních společností. Dílčím cílem práce je zjistit, jaké aktivity a nástroje využívají podniky k tomu, aby se staly cirkulární a zda jejich aktivity vedou směrem k dlouhodobé udržitelnosti. Pro výzkum byly vybrány podniky About You, Answear.cz, Bonprix.cz, Zalando a Zoot. Data použitá pro výzkum jsou veřejně dostupné informace získané na webových stránkách společností. Pro splnění cíle práce, zodpovězení výzkumných otázek a ověření hypotéz byla použita analýza cirkularity podniku a metoda komparace, metoda analytické hierarchie (AHP) a metoda experimentu. Výsledky ukazují, že nejvíce se na udržitelnost zaměřuje firma Zalando a nejméně firma Zoot. Firma Zalando nabízí službu prodeje zboží z druhé ruky a některé produkty jsou označeny digitálním ID, které po skenu do telefonu poskytne veškeré informace o produktu. Podniky se zaměřují především na využívání ekologických obalů, poskytují přesné informace o produktu, přesné míry u produktu na webových stránkách nebo pořádají akce a workshopy pro zvýšení povědomí o udržitelnosti a péči o oděvy. Výzkum přinesl nové informace a poznatky běžným spotřebitelům bez ohledu na to, zda nakupují udržitelné oděvy. Podnikatelům v oblasti módního průmyslu výzkum poskytl informace o konkurenčních společnostech a o jejich udržitelných a ekologických aktivitách.

Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to analyse and evaluate the approach to circular economy, circular product and sustainability of selected garment companies. A sub-objective of the paper is to find out what activities and tools companies use to become circular and whether their activities lead towards long-term sustainability. The companies selected for the research were About You, Answear.cz, Bonprix.cz, Zalando and Zoot. The data used for the research is publicly available information obtained from the companies' websites. To meet the objective of the thesis, answer the research questions and test the hypotheses, the analysis of circularity of the enterprise and the method of comparison, the analytic hierarchy method (AHP) and the method of experiment were used. The results show that Zalando is the most focused on sustainability and Zoot is the least focused on sustainability. Zalando provides a second-hand selling service and some products are marked with a digital ID that provides all the information about the product when scanned into the phone. Businesses focus mainly on the use of eco-friendly packaging, providing accurate product information, accurate measurements for the product on the website or organising events and workshops to raise awareness about sustainability and garment care. The research has brought new information and insights to ordinary consumers, regardless of whether they buy sustainable clothing. For entrepreneurs in the fashion industry, the research has provided information on competing companies and their sustainable and environmentally friendly activities.
