In this thesis we study differences between altitude of peaks written in the base map of Czech republic 1:10 000, hiking maps 1:50 000 and 1:100 000, hiking map 1:100 000 from 1966 or 1979, on-line hiking map, III. military mapping, literature and trigonometric points with values that were measured with total station in the Moravian-silesian Beskids.
