Dostupnost lidarových dat významně rozšířila možnosti geomorfologických výzkumů v České republice. Tato data by mohla pomoci k nalezení neotektonicky aktivních zlomů v oblasti Moravskoslezských Beskyd, kde zatím žádné takové zlomy nebyly nalezeny. Availability of new LiDAR data significantly extended possibilities of geomorphic research in Czech Republic. These data can help to find neotectonically active faults in Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts., where no such faults were found yet.
