Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zpracování základních informací vztahujících se k novodobým trendům a možnostem terorismu. V posledních letech jsou středem zájmu vlád států, které jsou terorismem ohroženy, zbraně hromadného ničení (ZHN). Jedná se o zbraně biologické, chemické a jaderné. Všeobecný přehled těchto zbraní bude tématem této práce. V úvodu se zmíním i o hrozbě, která je strašákem budoucnosti. Je jí kybernetický terorismus, jež může v budoucnu způsobit obrovské škody především státům silně závislým na internetu a IT technologiích vůbec. Teroristé se už v několika případech pokusili o použití zmíněných nekonvenčních zbraňových systémů. Jejichž síla je především v psychologickém účinku a panice mezi civilním obyvatelstvem. Což vyvolává chaos a značné ekonomické problémy postižené zemi.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to process the basic information referring to new trends and possibilities of terrorism. In the center of interest of the countries jeopardized by terrorism are weapons of mass destruction. It could be biological, chemical or nuclear weapons. General overview of those weapons will be the subject of this work. First I'm talking about the threat of the future which is the cyber-terrorism. It could cause a huge damage especially to those countries dependent on the internet and the information technologies especially. Terrorists have already tried several times to use such unconventional weapon systems. The significant power of it is psychological effect on civilians which is leading to panic. This in turn results in chaos and considerable economical problems in the attacked country.
