Public support for corporate philanthropy

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je ilustrovat dopad na základ daně společnosti poskytující dar pomocí různých druhů filantropických aktivit, jako jsou například sponzorské dary, matchingové fondy, peněžní a nepeněžní bezúplatné plnění či CRM aktivity. Cílem je také ilustrovat dopad různých filantropických aktivit na daň firmy a neziskové organizace. Bude vytvořena fiktivní nezisková organizace a fiktivní firma. Na základě jejich výnosů a nákladu bude znázorněn postup pro výpočet daňové povinnost a daň samotná. Závěrem budou porovnány jednotlivé výše daňových povinnosti včetně komentáře a jejich zhodnocení.

Abstract:

The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to illustrate the impact on the tax base of a company providing a gift through various types of philanthropic activities, such as sponsorship gifts, matching funds, monetary and non-monetary nature or CRM activities. The aim is also to illustrate the impact of various philanthropic activities on the tax of companies and non-profit organizations. A fictitious non-profit organization and a fictitious company will be created. Based on their revenues and costs, the procedure for calculating the tax duty and the tax itself will be shown. Finally, the individual amounts of tax liability, including comments and their evaluation, will be compared.
