Issues of drug use prevention on high schools.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku drog a drogovou prevenci v rámci středních škol. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakou mají studenti středních škol představu o drogách a závislosti na drogách, zda mají s drogami zkušenosti, které návykové látky jsou u adolescentů nejrozšířenější, zda se ve škole setkali s drogovou prevencí. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy týkající se drog, jejich dělení, účinky a rizika. Je zde vysvětlena závislost, její druhy a fáze, typy prevence, sociální služby, odborná pomoc a sociální důsledky užívání návykových látek. Empirická část má podobu kvantitativního výzkumu, jehož cílem je zjistit názory a zkušenosti středoškoláků na drogy a drogovou prevenci. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření na vybraných středních školách budou vyhodnoceny a porovnány.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of drugs and drug abuse prevention on secondary schools. The aim of the thesis is to discover the views of secondary school students on drugs and drug addiction, whether they have any experience with drugs, which addictive substances are the most common among adolescents and if the students have met with drug abuse prevention. In the theoretical part, basic terms concerning drugs are explained together with their categorisation, effects and risks connected with their abuse. Addiction, its types and stages are also explained in this part. Furthermore, types of prevention, social services, professional help and social consequences of drug abuse are all described therein. The empirical part has a form of quantitative research, which aims to ascertain the opinions and experiences of secondary school students on drugs and drug abuse prevention. The results from a questionnaire survey on selected secondary schools will be evaluated and compared.
