Abstract:

Diplomová práce, která se zabývá problémy a perspektivami udržitelného rozvoje cestovního ruchu v Gruzii, pojednává o funkci cestovního ruchu a jeho významu v mezinárodní ekonomice, o světových trendech cestovního ruchu a o roli a postavení Gruzie v tomto odvětví. V příspěvku jsou rozebrány koncepty udržitelného rozvoje cestovního ruchu, které zemi pomáhají zajistit stabilní stav cestovního ruchu v určitém časovém období. V hlavní části příspěvku jsou diskutovány podmínky udržitelného rozvoje cestovního ruchu vytvářené geografií, kulturou a historií země. Spíše než mluvit pouze o současných nebo minulých zkušenostech bude pochopen potenciál Gruzie pro udržitelný rozvoj v cestovním ruchu. Kromě toho, že cestovní ruch má mnoho kladných stránek, má i své slabiny, a proto budou probrány rizikové faktory v Gruzii z hlediska ekonomiky založené na cestovním ruchu. Práce je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu, kde zkušení pracovníci cestovního ruchu v Gruzii odpovídali na zasvěcené otázky. Rovněž jsou prezentována statistická data z různých zdrojů průmyslu.

Abstract:

The master's thesis, which concerns the problems and prospects of sustainable development of tourism in Georgia, discusses the function of tourism and its importance in the international economy, the world trends of the tourism industry, and the role and place of Georgia in this industry. Concepts of sustainablle development of tourism are analyzed in the paper, which helps the country to ensure a stable state of tourism in a certain period of time. In the main part of the paper, the conditions of sustainable development of tourism created by the geography, culture and history of the country is discussed. Rather than talking only about current or past experiences, Georgia's potential for sustainable development in the tourism industry will be understood. In addition to fact that the tourism industry has many positive sides, it also has its weaknesses, that is why the risk factors in Georgia in terms of the economy based on tourism will be discussed. Thesis is based on Qualitative research where experienced workers of tourism in Georgia answered insightful questions. Also, statistical data is presented from various sources of the industry.
