This bachelor thesis focuses on motivation as an invaluable aspect of learning and teaching English, in relation to using audio-visual media, with a narrow distinction of using videos, movies and TV shows. The theoretical part focuses on motivation, its definition and context in language acquisition, as well as in the context of using audio-visual media.
