Abstract:

Dizertace pojednává o komplexním vnímání estetických a etických znaků, které dekoduje divák fotbalu ve sportovní performanci. Semiotické znaky zpřítomňují proces ritualizované hry, která obsahuje kinetické a lingvistické elementy (jako zpětnou vazbu). Příklady případných studií soutěživého a nesoutěživého fotbalu představují interpretaci v rámci estetiky sportovní performance a vycházejí z Platonova a Aristetolova učení o kráse a ctnosti. Text metodologicky spočívá na kognitivní semiotice, která zahrnuje asynchroní vnímání, metaforické myšlení a performativní změnu, umožňující percepci estetických a etických kulturních znakových významů.

Abstract:

Dissertation deals with the spectator’s perception of the aesthetic and ethical aspects of the complex array of semiotic signs composing sport performance. Semiotic signs reflect the process of all ritualized plays with kinetic and language constituents (viewed as feedback loop). Departing from the classical thought of Platonic and Aristotelian concepts of the beautiful and the good, the case study examples provide in concrete terms interpretative analyses of the competitive and non-competitive soccer as instances of sport aesthetics. The text dwells on the cognitive approach to semiotics entailing asynchronic perception, metaphoric thinking, performative change that generate the spectator‘s perception of the aesthetic and the ethical.
