This Bachelor thesis examines the Kroužek divadleních ochotníků in Hvozdná (hereinafter referred to as "KDO Hvozdná") and its impacts on the village of Hvozdná, particularly on its culture. It summarizes the activities of amateur theatrical associations in the Czech Republic from the 12th century to the end of the 20th century.
