The psychological impact of communication programs on students

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá psychologickým působení distanční výuky na studenty. Ptá se studentů na jejich názor na program, který využívají ke komunikaci s učitelem a na školní předměty. Práce porovnává jejich známky z posledních let za účelem zjistit, zda došlo k změně prospěchu v období distanční výuky. Průzkum je tedy postaven na zpětné vazbě jednotlivých studentů. Dalším cílem práce je odpovědět na otázku, zda studenti preferují spíše distanční výuku, nebo prezenční. Výzkum proběhl kvantitativní metodou za pomocí anonymního dotazníku na bázi sémantického diferenciálu. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 70 respondentů ze základních, středních a vysokých škol. Získaná data byla analyzována a z nich byly vyvozeny výsledky. Ty ukázaly, že ve výuce je primárně preferovaný nástroj Microsoft Teams a také, že studenti mají spíše negativní postoj k distanční výuce, až na studenty Základních škol. Samotný nástroj Microsoft Teams je studenty hodnocen poměrně pozitivně. Práce také obsahuje již předešlé studie v této oblasti a seznámení s problematikou distanční výuky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the psychological effects of distance learning on students. Students were asked about their opinions on the computer program they use to communicate with the teacher and for school subjects. The thesis compares their grades from recent years to determine if there has been a change in their grades during the distance learning period. The survey is therefore based on the feedback of individual students. Another aim of the thesis is to answer the question whether students prefer distance learning or face-to-face learning. The research was carried out by a quantitative method using an anonymous questionnaire, which was based on a semantic differential. Seventy respondents from primary, secondary and higher education institutions participated in the research. The data collected was analysed and the results were drawn from them. These results showed that Microsoft Teams is the primary preferred tool for teaching and that students have a rather negative attitude towards distance learning, except for the primary school students. Microsoft Teams itself is rated quite positively by students. The thesis also includes previous studies in this area and an introduction to distance learning.
