Funding and Financial Support for Small and Medium Businesses

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is funding and financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises. This thesis deals with the analysis of standard and alternative funding opportunities and financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises. The work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of small and medium-sized enterprises, their advantages and disadvantages and theoretical basis for their determination. The second chapter deals with the structure of standard and alternative funding for small and medium-sized enterprises. The third chapter is devoted to sources of financing in the financial management of SMEs and financial support given to SMEs, including information on the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises from domestic and foreign sources of funds and the EU. In the practical part analyzes sources of financing and the use of small and medium-sized enterprises in the selected company. Based on the results of the analysis are proposed measure under which the company knew would improve its financial situation. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the available financial resources, and the acquisition and effective use of financial instruments in support of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Abstract:

Témou diplomovej práce je Financovanie a finančná podpora malých a stredných podnikov. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá analýzou štandardných a alternatívnych možností financovania a finančnej podpory malých a stredných podnikov. Práca je rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. Prvá kapitola sa zaoberá s vymedzením malých a stredných podnikov, ich výhodami a nevýhodami a teoretickými východiskami pre ich určenie. Druhá kapitola sa venuje štruktúre štandardných a alternatívnych finančných zdrojov malých a stredných podnikov. Tretia kapitola práce je venovaná zdrojom financovania vo finančnom riadení malých a stredných podnikov a finančným podporám poskytnutým malým a stredným podnikom, zahŕňa informácie o podpore malých a stredných podnikov z domácich a zo zahraničných zdrojov a fondov EÚ. V praktickej časti sú analyzované zdroje financovania a využívania malých a stredných podnikov vo vybranej spoločnosti. Na základe výsledkov analýzy sú navrhnuté opatrenia v rámci, ktorých by si podnik vedel zlepšiť svoju finančnú situáciu. Cieľom diplomovej práce je analyzovať dostupné finančné zdroje a možnosti získavania a efektívneho využívania nástrojov finančnej podpory v malých a stredných podnikoch.
