The Role of the Educational Assistant in the Educational Process of Students with Special Educational Needs at the primary School Level

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma "Role asistenta pedagoga ve vzdělávacím procesu žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami na 1. stupni ZŠ" poskytuje ucelený pohled na pozici asistentů pedagogů a zkoumá faktory ovlivňující jejich práci a pracovní spokojenost. Teoretická část práce analyzuje právní rámec vzdělávání těchto žáků a popisuje osobnostní a kvalifikační předpoklady asistentů pedagogů. Praktická část se opírá o kvalitativní výzkum provedený formou rozhovorů, který odhaluje vnímání role asistentů pedagogů, úroveň jejich pracovní spokojenosti, a identifikuje výzvy a zátěže spojené s jejich povoláním. Závěr práce prezentuje výsledky výzkumu a nabízí doporučení pro zlepšení praxe v této oblasti. Tato práce vychází z osobních zkušeností autorky v oblasti vzdělávání a aspiruje na posílení porozumění a podpory asistentů pedagogů ve vzdělávacím systému

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on "The Role of Teaching Assistants in the Educational Process of Pupils with Special Educational Needs in Primary School" provides a comprehensive view of the position of teaching assistants and examines the factors influencing their work and job satisfaction. The theoretical part of the thesis analyses the legal framework of education of these pupils and describes the personal and qualification prerequisites of teaching assistants. The practical part is based on qualitative research conducted in the form of interviews, which reveals the perception of the role of teaching assistants, their level of job satisfaction, and identifies the challenges and burdens associated with their profession. The thesis concludes by presenting the research findings and offering recommendations for improving practice in this area. This thesis draws on the author's personal experiences in the field of education and aspires to enhance the understanding and support of teaching assistants in the education system.
