The electoral system in the USA
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá volebním systémem ve Spojených státech amerických. V teoretické části práce je tato problematika dána do historického kontextu. Pozornost je věnována volbám do Sněmovny reprezentantů, Senátu, přičemž největší důraz je kladen na způsob a průběh voleb prezidenta. Výzkumné šetření bylo zaměřeno na zjištění znalostí této problematiky u středoškolských a vysokoškolských studentů

This thesis deals with the electoral system in the United States. This issue is placed in historical context in the first part of the thesis. The attention is paid to the elections to the House of Representatives, Senate and presidential election. The presidential elections are in the spotlight.
