Product life cycle in terms of environmental impact

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím recyklovaného kameniva v betonu na území České republiky. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část poskytuje přehled o životním cyklu produktu a vlivu recyklova-ného kameniva na životní prostředí. Praktická část obsahuje literární rešerši, kvalitativní výzkum a rozhovor s odborníkem Ing. Robertem Coufalem, Ph.D. Výzkumné otázky se zaměřují na dostatečnost normy ČSN EN 12620+A1 a možnost zavedení povinného použití recyklovaného kameniva ve veřejných zakázkách. Výsledky práce by měly přispět k lepšímu pochopení bariér a výzev spojených s využíváním recyklovaného kameniva v betonu a nabídnout prak-tická řešení pro jejich širší využití ve stavebnictví. Tímto způsobem může sta-vebnictví přispět k udržitelnému rozvoji a ochraně životního prostředí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of recycled aggregates in concrete in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part provides an overview of the product life cycle and the environmental impact of recycled aggregates. The practical part includes a literature search, qualitative research and an interview with the expert Ing. Robert Coufal, Ph.D. The research questions focus on the sufficiency of the ČSN EN 12620+A1 standard and the possibility of introducing the mandatory use of recycled aggregates in public procurement. The results of the work should contribute to a better understanding of the barriers and challenges associated with the use of recycled aggregates in concrete and offer practical solutions for their wider use in the construction industry. In this way, the construction industry can contribute to sustainable development and environmental protection.
