Intercultural communication in the business environment

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá mezikulturními rozdíly v podnikatelském prostředí. Společnost Viscofan CZ, s. r. o., na kterou byly aplikovány analýzy, se zabývá výrobou umělých střívek. Hlavním cílem bylo zhodnotit přístup k obchodním jednáním s jinými kulturami u vybraného obchodního podniku. Na základě zjištěných nedostatků navrhnout opatření pro jejich odstranění. V teoretické části je charakterizována kultura, národní kultura, organizační kultura, průběh a příprava na obchodní jednání. Informace pro zpracování teoretické části jsou čerpané z odborných, literárních zdrojů. Praktická část vychází z výsledků analýzy kulturních odlišností jednotlivých zemí a průzkumu formou strukturovaného rozhovoru. Na základě průzkumu jsou zde stanovena problematická místa, která se týkají dané problematiky. Pro jejich zlepšení či odstranění jsou navrhnuta konkrétní řešení. Přínosem této práce budou hlavně navržená opatření, která povedou ke zlepšení současného stavu společnosti.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with intercultural differences in the business environment. The company Vicsofan CZ, s. r. o., on which the analysis have been applied, is engaged in the manufacture of artificial guts. The main objective was to evaluate the approach to trade negotiations with other cultures in the selected business venture. On the basis of the identified shortcomings, propose measures for their removal. In the theoretical part is characterized by culture, national culture, organizational culture, progress and preparation for trade negotiations. Information for processing the theoretical part are drawn from professional, literary sources. The practical part is based on the results of the analysis of cultural differences in individual countries and in the form of a structured survey interview. On the basis of the survey are here established trouble spots concerning the issue. For their improvement or deletion are designed for specific solutions. The benefit of this work will be mainly the proposed measures, which will lead to the improvement of the current situation of the company.
