Collections of monastic libraries in the Czech lands in the 1950s
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá historií klášterních knihoven a jejich fondů v českých zemích po roce 1950. Úvodní část popisuje situaci klášterů a jejich knihoven v období po roce 1945. Podrobněji se věnuje likvidaci řeholních řádů a klášterů v Československu v 50. letech 20. století. Ve stěžejní části se bakalářská práce zaměří na proces převzetí knihovních fondů zrušených klášterů státem.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is the history of monastic libraries and their fonds in the Bohemian lands after the year 1950. The introductory part describes the situation of monasteries and their libraries after the year 1945. It further examines the elimination of monastic orders and monasteries as such in the 50s of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia. The pivotal part of the thesis focuses on the process …more
