Epidemie a pandemie jsou jevem, se kterým se člověk setkával od počátku usedlého stylu života. Historické prameny a archeologické výzkumy dávají možnost nahlédnout do souvislostí proměn pohřebního ritu. Tato práce se zabývá vlivem pandemie Covid-19 na pohřebnictví a pohřební rituály v Česku. Epidemics and pandemics are phenomena that have been encountered since the beginning of man's settled way of life. Historical sources and archaeological research provide insight into the context of the changes in funerary rituals.
