Abstract:

The master thesis "Roman "Train fou" (translation and analysis of translation) " is composed of two parts. The practical part consists in the translation of the extracts from the roman „Train fou“ of the author from the island La Réunion. At the same time, this part give some information about La Réunion, the author Axel Gauvin and the main storyline. The other part focuses on the traductologic analysis structured into few chapters which include discussion about the creole, creole culture, general translation theories, stylistic, syntactic and lexical analysis of the source text, basic classification of translation procedures and the biggest problems of our translation.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce "Roman "Train fou" (traduction et l'analyse traductologique)" je složena ze dvou hlavních částí: praktické a teoretické. Praktická část se zabývá překladem vybraných úryvků románu "Train fou". Zároveň stručně představuje ostrov La Réunion, kde se příběh odehrává, autora románu Axela Gauvina,hlavní příběh a zápletku románu. Druhá část se věnuje traduktologické analýze překladu. V několika kapitolách se věnuje kreolštině a kreolské kultuře na Réunionu, obecné teorii a historii překladu , stylistické, lexikální a syntaktické analýze textu a nakonec uvádí překladatelské postupy a největší překladatelské problémy.
