Competence of social pedagogue in theory and practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce nese název Kompetence sociálního pedagoga v teorii a praxi. Teoretická část se dělí na 4 kapitoly, na část teoretickou navazuje část praktická. První kapitola teoretické části se zabývá obecně sociální pedagogikou, jejím pojetím, předmětem a cíli dle tuzemských i zahraničních autorů. Kapitola druhá se zaobírá pojetím profesí a pomáhajících profesí, věnuje se profesi sociálního pedagoga, jeho uplatněním v rámci pomáhajících profesí a uplatněním dle legislativy ČR. Třetí část a čtvrtá část jsou věnovány vymezení kompetencí a klíčových kompetencí, přičemž se část čtvrtá zabývá zejména kompetencemi v profesi sociálního pedagoga a jejich vymezením dle jednotlivých autorů. Tato část pojednává také o tom, jaké jsou jednotlivé faktory práce sociálního pedagoga a jaké jsou osobní i profesní předpoklady pro náležitý výkon profese sociálního pedagoga - těmito předpoklady jsou určité znalosti, schopnosti, dovednosti a postoje. Dále kapitola předkládá několik různých vymezení kompetencí sociálního pedagoga a kompetenčních modelů dle tuzemských i zahraničních autorů. Na teoretickou část navazuje část praktická s kvantitativním výzkumem, respektive dotazníkovým výzkumem. Ve výzkumu je zjišťováno, na kolik jsou jednotlivé kompetence z pohledu studentů oboru Sociální pedagogika nezbytné pro výkon profese sociálního pedagoga. Dále praktická část zkoumá na základě, jakých faktorů a jakou měrou hodnotí své kompetence pro výkon profese sociálního pedagoga studenti prezenčního bakalářského a navazujícího magisterského studia oboru Sociální pedagogika.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is called The competence of social pedagogue in theory and practice. The theoretical part is divided into 4 chapters, the theoretical part is followed by the practical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part deals with general social pedagogy, its conception, subject and goals according to domestic and foreign authors. Chapter Two deals with the concepts of professions and helping professions. This chapter is engaged in the profession of the social educator, its application in the framework of helping professions and application according to the legislation of the Czech Republic. The third part and the fourth part are devoted to the definition of competencies and key competencies, while the fourth part deals mainly with competences in the profession of social educator and their definition according to individual authors. This section also discusses the different factors of the work of a social educator and what are the personal and professional prerequisites for the proper performance of the social educator profession - these prerequisites are certain knowledge, abilities, skills, and attitudes. Furthermore, the chapter presents several different definitions of competences of social pedagogue and competency models according to domestic and foreign authors. The theoretical part is followed by a practical part with quantitative research, exactly questionnaire research. The research investigates how many individual competencies are necessary for the performance of the profession of social pedagogue from the point of view of the students of Social Pedagogy. Furthermore, it examines on the basis of which factors the students evaluate the level of their competencies. It examines how the students of full-time Bachelor's and follow-up Master's degree programs in Social Pedagogy evaluate their competences for the performance of the social pedagogy profession.
