The Plan Colombia and bilance of its impacts after ten years
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá spoluprací Spojených států amerických s Kolumbií v boji proti drogám v andském regionu. Cílem práce je zhodnotit úspěšnost naplnění cílů, které si USA vytyčily při přijetí plánu navrženého prezidentem Kolumbie Pastranou, který je obecně známý jako Plan Colombia. Těžištěm práce je strategie omezování nabídky drog a její úspěšnost.
Abstract:
This work deals with the cooperation between United States and Colombia in the fight against drugs in Andean region. The aim is to evaluate the success of meeting the objectives targeted by the U.S. in adopting the plan proposed by Colombian President Andrés Pastrana, which is generally known as Plan Colombia. Main focus is on strategy of drug supply reduction and its success.
