The main goal of my thesis is to analyze the new regulatory framework known as Basel III. Another goal is to apply the rules of the third Basel Accord on chosen banks that operate in banking sector of Czech republic, and to evaluate the situation of czech banks´ readiness for compliance with defined capital requirements.
