Risks of Digital Transformation

Abstract:

Průmysl 4.0 je fenomén spojený s koncem 20. a začátkem 21. století. Některé prameny ho nazývají 4. průmyslouvou revolucí. V teoretické rovině existuje nespočet prací, které popisují využití datové analýzy, neuronových sítí, pokročilé automatizace, simulace a komplexních digitálních řešení, nisméně v reálném světě praxe za teorií značně pokulhává, minimálně v českých výrobních firmách. Existují průkopníci a úspěšné společnosti, které prokazují opak, ale moje vlastní zkušenost a zkušenosti z regionu mluví jasně. Většina, zejména středních a malých, firem přistupuje k zavádění prvků průmyslu 4.0 nahodile a pouze se snahy aplikovat moderní trendy nebo proto,že to dělá konkurence.

Abstract:

Industry 4.0 is a phenomenon associated with the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. Some sources refer to it the fourth industrial revolution. Theoretically, there are countless works describing the use of data analysis, neural networks, advanced automation, simulation, and complex digital solutions. However, practice in the real-world lag's theory behind, at least in Czech manufacturing companies. There are pioneers and successful companies that prove otherwise, but my own experience ande experience from the region speak clearly. Most companies, especially small and medium ones, approach the introduction od Industry 4.0 elemnts randomly and only with an effort to apply modern trends or because the competition doing it.
