Optimizing of evaluation system of lower management in a selected organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována tématu optimalizace hodnotícího systému pracovníků nižšího managementu ve vybrané organizaci. Cílem je provést analýzu zavedeného systému hodnocení pracovníků nižšího managementu štábního útvaru logistika vybrané vojenské základny, zhodnotit stav na základě komparace s modelovou situací tvořenou teoretickými podklady a navrhnout doporučení pro optimalizaci systému, vedoucí ke snížení nákladů. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části – část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části se zaměřuji na nástroje hodnocení pracovníků, kompetenční model, motivaci a výkonu. V praktické části provádím analýzu a empirické šetření na vojenské základně. Na základě komparace zjištěného stavu s teoretickým modelem vznáším souhrn doporučení pro optimalizaci hodnotícího systému vedoucí ke zvýšení motivace pracovníků s vlivem na jejich výkonnost a možnost snížení nákladů organizace.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with a topic of optimization of evaluation system of lower management group in chosen organization. The aim is to analyze the system which is being used now to evaluate employees of lower management group of the logistic department in chosen military base. The evaluation of the system is made by a comparison of reality with a model situation. The other aim is to offer some recommendations for system optimization leading to decrease of the costs. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part there is a focus on tools for employees´ evaluation, model of competence, motivation and performance. In the practical part there is an analysis of and an empiric research at the military base. On the basis of comparison of the observed situation with the theoretical model I offer recommendations for optimization of the evaluation system which should increase the employees’ motivation with influence on their efficiency and a possibility of decreasing the costs of the whole organization.
