The woman´s role and the emerging phenomenon of "women´s circles"

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je prvotní prozkoumání fenoménu tzv. "ženských kruhů" z pohledu jejich samotných účastnic. Teoretická část práce popisuje historickou evoluci ženské role ve společnosti, a to od pravěku až po současnost. Následující kapitola se zabývá postupným vývojem ženských kruhů. Ve výzkumné části je využito jak kvalitativních, tak i kvantitativních dat získaných od přímých účastnic ženských kruhů. Přestože je pro současnost emancipace žen typická, pilotní průzkum ukazuje, že ženy potřebují ke své spokojenosti vzájemné sdílení ve "společné oáze", kterou jsou právě ženské kruhy.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is initial research of the so-called "women's circles" phenomenon from the participants' point of view. The theoretical part describes a historical evolution of woman's role in the society from prehistory to the present. Next chapter is focused on a gradual development of the women's circles. The research part of this thesis uses both qualitative and quantitative data obtained directly from the women's circles participants. Although the emancipation of women is typical at the present time the pilot survey shows that in order to feel satisfied women need mutual sharing in their "oasis" which is represented by the women's circles.
