Perspective and life aspiration of children living in children´s homes

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá perspektivou a životní aspirací dětí žijících v dětském domově. Teoretická část objasňuje pojmy jako je rodina, funkce rodiny a dysfunkční rodina. Dále je v této části práce vymezena náhradní výchovná péče a charakteristika dětského domova. V závěru teoretické části je popsána perspektiva a životní aspirace adolescentů žijících v dětském domově. Ve výzkumné části jsou pomocí kvalitativní strategie a formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru zjišťovány odpovědi na výzkumné otázky. Data získaná na základě rozhovoru jsou podrobena analýze a následně interpretována. Cílem výzkumné části diplomové práce je za pomoci kvalitativní výzkumné strategie zjistit, jak adolescenti ve věku 17-22 let přemýšlí nad vlastní budoucností a jaké mají představy a plány po odchodu z dětského domova.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the life perspective and aspirations of children living in a children?s home. The theoretical part explains terms such as family, its function and dysfunctional family. This part also describes alternative care and characteristics of children's home. The life perspective and aspirations of adolescents living in an orphanage is described at the end of the theoretical part. Answers to research questions are collected through a qualitative strategy and in the form of semi-structured interview in the empiric part. Data from the interview are subjected to analysis and subsequently interpreted. The aim of the empiric part of the thesis is to determine, with the help of qualitative research strategies, how adolescents aged seventeen to twenty-two think about their future and what their ideas and plans after leaving the orphanage are.
