Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou genderových rolí a zaměřuje se na mužské genderové role a genderové stereotypy. Sleduje proměny, kterými genderové mužské role prošly v moderní společnosti a zaměřuje se především na jejich současnou podobu v rodině a společnosti. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří vzájemně provázaných částí. První část se soustředí na vymezení a osvětlení ústředních pojmů, které se k danému tématu váží. Ve druhé části je přiblížen proces, kterým dochází k osvojování genderových rolí a popisuje jednotlivé socializační činitele, které při něm na člověka působí. Třetí kapitola rozebírá jednotlivé role, které muži zastávají v rodině a společnosti a pokouší se zachytit změny, které jednotlivé role doznaly od počátku industriální společnosti. Praktickou část diplomové práce tvoří kvantitativní výzkum zaměřený na zjištění názorů a postojů respondentů a respondentek na žádoucí rozdělení činností a kompetencí v těchto oblastech rodinného života: práce v domácnosti, péče o děti, hmotného zabezpečení rodiny a organizace volného času. Výzkumným souborem jsou studenti 3. vysokých škol s různým zaměřením (humanitní, technické a ekonomické), názory studentů jsou zjišťovány pomocí dotazníku vlastní konstrukce. Získaná data jsou posuzována dle tří nezávisle proměnných: pohlaví, velikosti místa bydliště a typu studované VŠ. Data jsou analyzována s použitím t-testu a analýzy rozptylu.

Abstract:

The submitted thesis deals with the gender roles and it is focused on male gender roles and gender stereotypes. It observes the transformations that gender male roles passed in the modern society and it is especially focused on its present form in family and society. The theoretical part is divided into three interconnected parts. The first part is concentrated on the determination and illustration of the official concepts that relates to the theme. In the second part the process, where the gender roles are acquired, is approached and it describes the single social factors. The third part analyses single roles that men occupy in the family and society and it tries to catch the transformations that the single roles have confessed since the beginning of the industrial society. The practical part of the thesis makes the quantitative research focused on findings of opinions and positions of respond ents about desired splitting of activities and competences in these fields of the family life: housework, child welfare, creature comforts of the family and the organisation of the free time. The researched set are students from three universities with different bent (humanitarian, technical and economic), opinions of the students are polled by the help of the self-constructed questionnaire. The obtained data are under discussion by three independent variables: sex, size and place of residence and type of the studied university. The data are analysed using t-test and analysis of variance.
