Criminal activity of persons in the exercise of imprisonment

Abstract:

V práci je řešena problematika trestné činnosti osob vykonávajících trest odnětí svobody v České republice. První část práce pojednává o cílech a poslání výkonu trestu odnětí svobody v České republice, dále pak pojednává o systému vězeňství a bezpečnosti při zajišťování výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Cílem práce je objasnit a porovnat druhy trestných činů páchaných odsouzenými ve věznicích a jakou roli v této oblasti páchané trestné činnosti sehrávají omamné a psychotropní látky. Jaká jsou aktuální přijímaná opatření ze strany věznice směřující k eliminaci takového nežádoucího jednání vězněných osob a k zamezení průniku těchto látek do věznice. Cílem průzkumu je zjistit jaká je motivace odsouzených k páchání trestné činnosti ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody nebo výkonu trestního opatření s návrhem na přijetí adekvátních preventivních opatření.

Abstract:

The thesis addresses the issue of criminal activity personally serving a custodial sentence in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis deals with the goals and mission of imprisonment in the Czech Republic, then discusses the system of prison and security in ensuring the execution of imprisonment. The aim of the work is to clarify and compare the types of crimes committed in prisons and any role in this area of crimes played by narcotics and psychotropic substances, current admission measures by prisons to eliminate such further behavior of prisoners and to prevent the transfer of these substances to prisons. The aim of the survey is to find out what is the motivation of convicts to commit criminal offenses in the execution of a custodial sentence or the execution of a criminal measure with a proposal to take adequate preventive measures.
