Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce ze zabývá monumentálním sochařským reliéfem Dívčí válka vytvořeným v letech 1897-1901 českým sochařem Vojtěchem Eduardem Šaffem. Toto dílo je obecně považován za vrchol jeho tvorby. Dvoudílný reliéf vznikl ve vídeňském ateliéru umělce na základě zakázky tehdejšího ministerstva kultu a osvěty a je umístěn v budově dnešního Západočeského muzea v Plzni. This thesis deals with monumental sculptural relief The Maidens' War which was created in the period of 1897 – 1901 by Czech sculptor Vojtěch Eduard Šaff. This work is generally regarded to be the peak of his activities.
