The adaptation difficulties of starting out teachers in the environment of inclusive education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce "Adaptace začínajících učitelů v prostředí inkluzivního vzdělávání" se zaměřuje na problematiku začínajících učitelů a jejich problémy v prvních pěti letech učitelského působení. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké adaptační potíže vykazují nastupující učitelé v prostředí inkluzivních základních škol a jaké strategie používají k jejich překonávání. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zaměřuje na zpracování témat ohledně historického vývoje inkluzivního vzdělávání, jeho legislativního rámce, problematiky a role začínajícího učitele. Empirická část analyzuje data získaná ze škálovacího dotazníku vytvořeného autorkou. Dotazník je zaměřen na oblasti sociálních, organizačních a materiálních záležitostí. Za přínos této práce lze považovat zjištění, že je potřeba se již v rámci vysokoškolského vzdělávání učitelů základních škol zaměřit na vzdělávání žáků se speciálními potřebami, vzhledem k nárůstu zájmu začlenění jedinců se znevýhodněním.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "The adaptation difficulties of starting out teachers in the environment of inclusive education" focuses on the issue of the newly qualified teachers and the problems they face in their first five years of teaching. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out what are the adaptation difficulties of newly qualified teachers in the environment of inclusive primary schools and what strategies they use to overcome them. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis elaborates on topics concerning the historical development of inclusive education, its legislative framework, issues and the role of the newly qualified teacher. The empirical part analyzes data acquired from the scaling questionnaire created by the author. The questionnaire, focused on educational, social, organizational and material issues. The benefit of this work lies in the finding that it is necessary to focus on the education of pupils with special needs already in teacher training programmes at universities, especially given the growing interest in the inclusion of disadvantaged individuals.
